This basic plan includes a one-time inspection of your heating or air conditioning unit. Benefits include:

  • 1 full year labor warranty on repairs
  • Priority scheduling

The Gold Star Plan
This is the best plan available, providing you with year long, worry-free protection.* Benefits include:

  • Semi-annual maintenance as in the Silver Star plan
  • TOP Priority scheduling

Maintenance Inspections on thermal storage, humidifiers, oil units, geo-thermal units, etc., may be added to any of these plans for an additional fee.

A/C & Heat Pump Inspections:

Our Technicians Will Perform the Following Checks:
  • Clean air filter
  • Wash I/D coil (extensive cleaning extra)
  • Check and flush condensate drains (must have cleanout Tee - extra task to install)
  • Flush condensate pan
  • Clean and flush condensate pump if applicable
  • Check aux. pan for cracks or bad seals
  • Do visual check of ductwork for leaks or deterioration
  • Wash O/D coil if needed (extensive cleaning extra)
  • Tighten electrical connections
  • Check incoming voltage
  • Check amp draw of compressor
  • Check amp draw of indoor fan motor
  • Check amp draw of outdoor fan motor
  • Check for loose or frayed wires
  • Inspect contactor points
  • Inspect capacitors for leakage
  • Take sensor readings if applicable
  • Replace missing armaflex up to 12” at no charge
  • Make sure o/d unit is raised if it's a heat pump - (minimum 4” above pad)
  • Lubricate motor
  • Check blower wheel (extensive cleaning extra)
  • Check for proper airflow - CFM
  • Check refrigerant pressures
  • Check superheat readings
  • Check subcooling readings
  • Take temperature readings (dry bulb)
  • Take temperature readings (wet bulb)
  • Check thermostat calibration
  • Check piping for possible rub-throughs
  • Make recommendations to customer in writing
  • Take all readings in heat mode - H/P
  • Check for proper defrost operation - H/P
  • Check backup heat - H/P
  • Check any lockout controls - H/P

Gas-Fired Equipment Inspections:

Our Technicians Will Perform the Following Checks:

Gas Boilers:

  • Tighten electrical connections
  • Check wiring
  • Check incoming voltage
  • Check transformers
  • Check amp draw of inducer motor
  • Check amp draw of circulator
  • Check intake and exhaust vents
  • Check boiler limits and safety controls
  • Check aquastat
  • Check and clear condensate drains and trap
  • Check all pressure switches
  • Check ignitor
  • Check and clean flame sensor if necessary
  • Check for water leaks
  • Check water pressure
  • Check incoming gas pressure
  • Check manifold gas pressure
  • Check burner operation
  • Check zone valves for each zone
  • Make any recommendations to customer

Gas Furnaces:

  • Clean air filter
  • Tighten electrical connections
  • Check incoming voltage
  • Check amp draw of the fan motor
  • Check amp draw of inducer motor
  • Check blower wheel (extensive cleaning extra)
  • Check for loose or frayed wires
  • Lubricate motor
  • Check for proper CFM
  • Check limit operation
  • Check gas condensate tubing and traps
  • Check all pressure switches
  • Check all venting and terminations
  • Check ignitor
  • Check and clean flame sensor (if needed)
  • Check visible area of heat exchanger
  • On 80+ gas furnace clean heat exchanger
  • Check pilot and thermocouple
  • Check gas pressures - incoming
  • Check gas pressures - manifold
  • Check all safety controls
  • Check burner operation
  • Check heat exchanger temperature rise
  • Inspect ductwork for leaks or problems
  • Make any recommendations to customer
